Offered are very exclusive oil paintings of accomplished Georgian artist Ioseb (Soso) NADIRADZE. Recent revolution, war, painful transition from rather pampering socialism to cold-shouldered capitalism perhaps was beneficial for some merchants and politicians, but left most of Georgian intellectuals in a difficult situation of straggle for simple surviving. Soso happen to be among them. In order to afford ongoing payments for his daughter’s University tuition (which used to be free during socialism), Soso ordered the Chancery Art Gallery to sell some of his paintings out through the auction. This is “Sealed Bids” auction: the highest bidder at noon of 2009 November 28 wins the lot and pays the price he or she offered. "Reserved" – gallery reserves the right to reject the highest bid if it is not high enough to satisfy the artist

All sales are final. In addition to the sale price, 13% Canada&Ontario sales taxes* will apply (GST 5% + PST 8%). Prices are listed in Canadian dollars.
